Recently I have come across an old file of my father’s that describes an
artifact of great power. This artifact not only has the ability to create
thralls, but etched into it is a word that, if spoken, gives you the power to
control those horrible things. To find this artifact, I must return to my father’s
secret study lying under the remains of my family’s estate. The Doppelganger is
a dark and deadly reflection of Lara. Created as a sinister trick by Lara’s
oldest foe, she possesses the streight, speed and savagery to end the Croft
lineage once and for all.

~ Il mio doppelganger? Non l’ho liberata sicuramente per compassione, quanto per
interesse... È stato il mio strumento per sbarazzarmi una volta per tutte di
Natla... e non me ne pento! A dir la verità sono riuscita a farla ragionare con
la sua testa, e non stando agli ordini di Natla... Ma poche persone sanno in che
modo sono riuscita a farlo. In un certo senso siamo diventate amiche...
